Waldom Welcomes Crouzet to Tree Planting Program

Waldom Electronics, a leading Master Distributor of electronic components selling exclusively to other distributors and never to OEMs, is thrilled to announce that Crouzet has signed Waldom's 1% Sustainability Pledge and joined our new Tree Planting Initiative.

The initiative focuses on planting mangroves along the Kenya coastline, known for their rich biodiversity and critical role in coastal ecosystems. Mangroves provide essential services such as carbon sequestration, shoreline protection, and habitat for numerous species.

Waldom Electronics and Crouzet will be collaborating with veritree, renowned for their three-step verification process and the transparency they provide through their GPS system. This relationship ensures that the planting process is thoroughly monitored and that stakeholders can see the trees being planted in real-time.

This joint effort underscores the strong commitment of Waldom Electronics and Crouzet to environmental stewardship. "Our partnership with Crouzet marks a significant step towards our long-term sustainability goals," said Don Akery, CEO at Waldom. "We aim to create a lasting, positive impact on both the environment and the communities we serve."

Robert Derringer, Director of Global Channel at Crouzet, commented, "We are proud to join forces with Waldom in this crucial initiative. Signing Waldom's sustainability pledge and dedicating 1% of our Green Stock budget to tree planting reflects our dedication to corporate responsibility and environmental conservation. This initiative not only helps sequester carbon but also enhances local ecosystems and supports community development. The initiative further illustrates Crouzet’s commitment to the environment, which is evident in our EcoVadis Gold Medal rating that ranks Crouzet within the top 3% of the industry.”
